With the change, the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror would join the Toy Story Land attractions in Tier 1. Tier 2 includes other attractions like Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, as well as shows like Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage. Under the current system, Tier 1 attractions are those in Toy Story Land-Toy Story Mania, Alien Swirling Saucers and Slinky Dog Dash. Starting August 29, a majority of the park's rides will be placed in what's called Tier 1, while other attractions that use FastPass+ would be considered Tier 2. In fact, unless you’re planning to visit the parks for four or more days, you may not be able to secure a FastPass selection for some attractions at the 60-day mark anyway. New rooms means more competition for the same limited number of FastPass options. The company also opened a new hotel tower and has plans to add more rooms later this year. Disney extended its 60-day FastPass benefit to multiple non-Disney hotels this year. One final reason it’s difficult to assess the value of a FastPass at Disney World in 2019 is the increased amount of competition for the most popular attractions.
